Office Manager/PA to the CEO - Sydney Office
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join as a PA to the CEO of ModelCo, Australia’s most exciting and innovative beauty brand. This demanding yet diverse, full-time opportunity exists for an experienced PA who seeks variation, challenging yet career growing experience.

You will be an established PA who thrives in a dynamically demanding and creative environment. You must be highly organised and outcome focused and be able to balance priorities with exceptional organisational skills. Well-developed communication skills, negotiation expertise and a high level of attention to detail are essential.

You must be a strong networker, with excellent interpersonal skills and diverse experience, the successful candidate must have the confidence and determination to make the role their own, and establish credibility from internal and external stakeholders across all levels of our business. This collaborative position requires expert admin support across all elements of office management, account management, 360 human resources functions as well as supporting a growing business and entrepreneurial CEO. You must have proven people management skills as you will have direct reports including front reception, customer service and admin staff from other internal departments. This is a pivotal position within the business and the successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Manage and maintain relationships with Service and Equipment providers:
  • Manage and maintain local and international couriers
  • Order office equipment and all other requirements within budget
  • Create and maintain files as required
  • Provide and implement suggestions to improve processes and systems
  • Analyse and monitor current office supplier arguments, ensure commercially savvy relationships created and maintained
  • Ensure customer service processes and standards are maintained
  • Maintain general office appearance
  • Be knowledgeable in all Company products; have a thorough understanding of the use of product; know key selling points, ingredients and sales tips


  • Manage CEO’s diary, appointments, meetings etc
  • Understand role of receptionist/customer service assistant, relieve when required, monitor performance, delegate tasks etc.
  • Performance manage direct reports; Digital & Customer Service Coordinator and Reception and Office Coordinator Manage and assist CEO with all business and personal events & functions
  • Coordinate all aspects of internal office events, meetings and trainings
  • Manage security of personal files, and business files


  • Create and implement position descriptions
  • Recruit, select and induct employees, freelancers
  • Ensure adequate reference checks and background checks are conducted
  • Manage staff leave Maintain policies and procedures manual
  • Coordinate Performance Review Discussions
  • Provide 360-degree HR and Recruitment service to CEO


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting both high level managers and teams
  • Proven ability to work on projects autonomously and be able to maintain a flexible and positive approach to work
  • High attention to detail, timely follow-up and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to tight timeframes
  • Advanced level of computer skills & operational knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.
  • Strong planning, time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

Digital E-Commerce Manager - Sydney Office
We are looking for someone to help us transform, lead and develop our online business. Reporting directly into the CEO this role is an integral part of a growing entrepreneurial lead company.

The Digital E-Commerce Manager is responsible for creating and leading the strategic development and sales growth of ModelCo cosmetics, tanning and skincare. This role requires a proven track record in leading and evolving e-Commerce businesses through driving innovation in technology, engaging content, developing people and teams, displaying financial acumen, and implementing partnerships across operations, merchandising, and digital marketing. The objectives of this role are to grow revenue, improve gross margin, maximise operating income and deliver the ultimate brand experience.

This position must be a strong people leader, able to influence across all business functions, manage multiple agencies


  • Create and develop Digital E-Commerce strategies and present to senior management to fulfil revenue and profit plans, changing consumer expectations and market conditions
  • Manage Digital Commerce P&L, including revenue and margin forecasting, expense budgeting and forecasting
  • Drive sales, profit and consumer experience metrics of driving execution of strategies, promotions, tactics and campaigns.
  • Drive site experience improvements through analytics, testing and to drive increased conversion and AOV, while also providing a strong user experience to reinforce loyalty with ModelCo customers.
  • Manage execution of all web analytics including content, site, traffic and marketing campaign analysis
  • Drive execution of seasonal content and merchandising calendars to ensure freshness, relevancy, consistency and appropriate balance of brand story-telling and commerce
  • Own process, budget and team (internal and external resources) to secure appropriate photo/video and related product content to drive brand story-telling and commerce
  • Lead operational decision making and partner with leadership in customer service, distribution and logistics to drive performance and customer satisfaction
  • Continue to grow omnichannel strategies and execute plans including ensuring appropriate infrastructure and consumer experience strategies are in place.
  • Analyse current and past trends, monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Perform appropriate competitive analyses, benchmarking and research to drive solid ROI analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage all aspects of performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth.
  • Keep current with the latest eCommerce trends and technology to drive innovation and stay ahead of competition.


  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 8+working in Digital Commerce
  • At least 5 years managing direct reports in business roles in Digital Commerce
  • Tertiary degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising, Information Services. Demonstrable and impressive track record of achievement in revenue growth, management of budgets, developing relationships with agency and publisher partners, team building and development
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • An understanding of the cosmetics and general beauty industry is valuable, but not necessary

Social Media and Content Strategist - Sydney Office
ModelCo is seeking a passionate, experienced, and results driven SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT STRATEGIST.

From monthly content planning to daily execution of digital content, this exciting and dynamic role includes a variety of tasks from creating engaging creative content to executing influencer engagement to grow and maintain ModelCo’s social media channels and website. Key to the role is a graphic design experience and extensive knowledge of all social media platforms. A solid understanding of how to drive brand awareness, create engagement with understanding of who the top bogger/social media/celebrity’s influences are, as well as genuine passion the fashion and beauty industry is key to success.

The ideal candidate is someone with their finger on the pulse and is a quick, effective worker that is a step ahead and understands the ever changing world of the social media and digital realm.  You will be our brand voice, so you must be confident, full of creative ideas and ready to action in heartbeat! The role is responsible for the day-to-day running of our various social platforms as well as acting as the social media personality for our Iconic Australian beauty brand.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and executing monthly ModelCo Social Media strategy in line with brand aesthetic
  • Creating self-produced in-house video content for all social media channels
  • Creating a rolling 3-month influencer engagement recommendation and strategy programme
  • Sourcing and creating all content for social media including social media advertising and video content
  • Maintaining our social media presence across a variety of platforms

  • Engaging with followers and other social media accounts in an informative and on-brand tone of voice.

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven digital marketing, social media and content strategy experience.
  • Familiarity with Campaign Monitor and/or HTML to create and send newsletters to database Strong Enthusiasm for creating images, video, and posts.
  • Photography, video editing & writing skills is a plus. Must be active on social media yourself and possess a strong working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal communication skills and well presented Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (This is a must; we will ask for demonstrations of your skill)
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a close knit team
  • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines on a weekly basis

E-commerce and Administration Assistant - Sydney Office
An exciting position exists for a newly created role at ModelCo Head Office supporting our Digital, PR and Marketing team.

The role will see the successful applicant primarily assisting our digital marketing and PR team however will also include various ad hoc admin duties assisting other departments across the business. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, action-orientated, digitally savvy, flexible and highly organised.

The successful applicant will possess an exceptional time management and an understanding of deadlines, strong communication skills and are committed to working both individually and as part of a fast paced and dynamic team.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  •  Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with all facets of E-Commerce product merchandising including updating of visual assets, product descriptions, customer journey and user experience, pricing and inventory management
  • Assisting our e-commerce team with various customer service tasks. Including an extensive customer database, building strong customer relationships and management of online discount VIP codes
  • Assist with customer service and content management across social media channels in accordance with ModelCo brand and style
  • Generate and analyse relevant digital reports and provide statistics and digital insights where required
  • Provide support to the PR department with product send outs, responding to beauty briefs, event execution and media relations
  • Assist PR and Digital departments with the development and growth of relationships with an ongoing network of social media influencers
  • Management of weekly media reports and an up-to-date media contact list.Ensuring ModelCo remains front of mind for leaders of the Beauty, Fashion and Celebrity industry
  • Providing assistance to the customer service manager
  • Ad hoc administration tasks across the business providing support to all departments where required

Ideally, you will have:

  • The ability respond quickly and work across multiple projects and work well under pressure.
  • Effectively handle conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
  • Attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • The ability to show initiative and display a proactive and innovative approach to all tasks
  • An understanding of the Australian fashion/beauty media landscape and a familiarity with relevant key digital publications, websites and social influencers
  • An understanding of digital marketing, online retailing and E-commerce operations including (but not limited to) Magento, Wordpress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, SEO and Digital advertising channels
  • Competence across main social media platforms and writing experience, or excellent written communication skills is preferred
